Re: UFO Support Group
Cindy, last year we test drove a couple of machines and I too liked the HQ16 the best. I just don't know if I will be able to afford it anytime soon and I guess I am just getting impatient. I will have to check out the Nolting Fun Quilter on-line and see if I can test drive one in Houston.

Don't forget Holon's post about BabyLock coming out with some type of mid or long arm in July or August? And I was wondering too what kind of price you could get on a LA at the Show to keep them from having to ship their demo back to where they come from.

Cathy, thanks for the reminder about the BabyLock, who knows what will happen by Quilt show. I am interested in hearing more about what Holon told us and see what her opinion is on this "new" machine.
Cindy, I checked out the catalog, the saturday class sounds good to me, I will let you know when I plan to send in my registration form.
I am waiting to see if DD#3 is still planning on the trip and if she is going to take a class also, I should have an answer soon.

Half way done on quilting my Christmas quilt (twin size), it is going slow because I am doing an outline stitch on each block. I used 12 blocks from from last years Christmas Block Swap so each one is from a different person. In this quilt I used all my blocks that were red and green, I plan on using the others to make, hopefully, a queen size Christmas quilt for my bed.

Sandy, I used 12 of the Christmas blocks and added green lattice strips and a christmas print for cornerstones. I also added some small log cabin blocks on either end to make it a little longer for a twin bed. It is coming along very nicely and hopefully will be finished sometime next week. I will post a picture as soon as I am finished quilting.
Cindyg, good for you on getting another project out of the way.
