Here is my fall swap block. It's called 8 Hands Around and represents all the years my husband and I spent square dancing.
I'm just waiting on an address to mail them.

Carole, the center is 4 1/2" square. I used the largest flying geese ruler, 4 x 8. It went together really fast. Just remember, when sewing the first geese block to the center block, sew only half way across the 4 1/2" square. Too short and it's hard to work with and too long it's hard to work with, stopping in the center is just right. After you sew on the last goose, then go back and finish sewing the first goose in.

It's a fun block to work with.

Lillian, I love your block, looking forward to having it in my quilt!

Mine are finished. I think Cindy had to go out of town due to her DH surgery. Could someone, please, pm me her address so I can get these in the mail Monday. Thanks.

I wish I could post a photo, but havn't learnd that yet. They are fall colors and look like they'll blend well with the blocks I've seen.

Oh wondeful cindy, I always get a little nervous about the mail. After the fiasco (sp) with the 1800 swap I no longer trust Uncle Sam!

Cindy, I mailed the blocks at 3:30 pm today, Wednesday. The mailman weighed it and the $4.60 stamp was enough postage and will be enough on the return envelope as long as it weighs the same.
