March Secret Pals

Received my March Secret Pal gift about the first week in March from Jenean. Beautiful piece of red printed lame,(lamae) and a Chinese red FQ with black Oriental letters - both are so lovely. A postcard from San Joaquin valley ( I use to live in Sacramento) and it brought back so many wonderful memories. She also sent a great "Quilt - It - Kit" and it is so special to me.

Thanks so much Jenean! My ex grad from Sacramento State, now UC Sacramento, in 3 years - top of his class. Also taught there...Quanitative Methods---I haven't a clue! HA! Then on to UW Wisconsin at Madison. Rec'd many scholarships, but chose this university because of their business school. Got his astrs Degree in one year. Pretty smart!

My secret pal gift came yesterday, and all I can say is WOW! Beth Street really did send a great package. There is a book - Sunshine & Shadows - that I can't wait to start tonight. Fabric and pattern for a St. Patrick's table runner. Easter FQ's. 5" charm pack. Quilt pocket calendar. Cute & tiny sewing kit. "Quilting Girl" mints. All wrapped up in a really cute fabric. Thanks Beth! I appreciate it so much. What a great thing to come home to last night.

The last I heard my March gift had been sent out late, but I have still not received anything. I just hope whoever sent it added delivery confirmation so that they can check on it, I would hate for it to be lost somewhere.
