I purchase my invisible thread from Quilt in a Day. I have no problem with it in the bobbin, the top or sewing with it. I have washed it, pressed it, done all that can be thought of with it, and it still seems to be fine. My bobbin winds it just as the same as other threads. The bobbin and the top can be different. I use it mainly for quilting where it is not easily seen, but the pattern of the meanering can be distinguished. I hope you find your solution.
