D U H!!!!!

I was so interested in what you wrote that I didn't even see "comments" at the bottom. LOL This is my first visit to a "Blog" spot. I'll go and try to leave a comment.

I'm off to find some "Press and Seal" to try this method also.

Take Care,
Linda/Oasis

Have Fun,

I've used Press N seal for Sashiko blocks. You do have to watch that the marker colour doesn't bleed into the fabric. You can also follow the outline with your presser foot, thus quilting to the left or right of the actual line.

Someone in our quilt guild swears that freezing a project for a little while makes it easier to remove the plastic.

And lastly, not to be a downer, but I feel I should pass it on. Our quilt guild president emailed us all recently warning that press N seal can get into our machines and 'gum up the works'.

Im' not saying don't use it - just use caution.

Homespun, I loved seeing your quilts again. Brought back fond memories of when you first posted. I still just love the one with the little hippo on it - the pale pink and black one. You are doing so great with your quilting.

I used a Crayola washable marker so if any did get on the quilt it would wash out easy. I really like it.

Adhesive Edged Patterns for Machine Quilting are available here:

I haven't tried them yet but from what reviews I read all the paper tears away.
