Ok it's official, I am jealous now. All I see from my sewing machine is my TV LOL.

My girlfriend took down the log cabin summer home that was in her family since she was little, and built a big beautiful house. Of course I take advantage of the friendship from time to time. We have been best of friends for 36 years.

You have a fantastic landscaper! I love lakes, ponds, seas, oceans, fountains, bird baths, creeks, and streams. Anything that has water in or around it calls my name.

Maryq,

How can you sew with that view from the window???? My sewing ADD would kick in and I'd get very little done... yet I wish I could live on a lagoon but that would be as dangerous as your view, not much would get done, I'd be so busy looking at the water. I'm on boat cruise withdrawl today. DH and I were on the bay for an hour yesterday. Got nicely colored and oh to be cruising on the bay just felt so good! Love our pontoon boat!

The only view from my sewing room window is the neighborhood. Lucky you!

Maryq, what a breathtaking view! WOW I would never get anything done but sit and enjoy the view! You are a very lucky gal. Yes, I think that would make a perfect permanent home.

My sister and I are the landscapers! The tall row of grass you see is actually weeds, that I spent a little time on Sunday wacking! We have a riding lawn mower we can use up there and since sis doesn't know how to drive it, I usually mow the lawn. Since she just had back surgery last week it will be a while before she can do the yard work. She's the gardener in the family and LOVES spending time pulling weeds.. Not Me!!!
