Joan - That is a good question which I do not have the answer for but the blocks look very friendly and doable

JOAN, that's a very good question that I, too, was pondering just yesterday. I'll probably slap my forehead and say, "Oh, now I get it!", but shouldn't it be LUS? And even though I'm not doing this quilt because I'm still deep into my Dear Jane which is very smiliar, I'm fascinated by these type quilts, so I hope it's OK if I ask questions, too.

It turns out that have 2 copies of the Loyal Union Sampler book. I will send a copy of the book to the first person who needs the book because they want to join the sew along and is the first to pm me with their name and address.
