Okay. I am in!

I ordered the book. I am pretty nervous because the blocks are so small and some look complicated, but I am going to give it a go.

I plan on drawing from my stash. I hope I can keep up!

I ordered my blue material, Mine is not going to be scrappy this time. I decided I wanted a blue and white. I started the line up for January. A little bit of this and a little bit of that. Some easy some hard. But all doable.

Alright!

Our group is growing. Ordered some batiks which are my faves, using the $10.00 off coupon I won on the Fab Shop from Batiks Plus. I let them choose the fabris. Got some I liked, some I didn't, but will use them all. Will try to use them in this sampler.

I'm excited - can't wait! Now, back to hand quilting on the Entwined.

My book came today.

This will be challenging for me, but I think I am up for it.
I want to finish the novel before January. I think it will make the sew along more fun

I have my book. I'm considering doing several small quilts--wall quilts and throws rather than a big quilt. That way I can use batiks, Civil War, 30s fabrics and not mix the fabrics in one project. I think I have attention deficit disorder and like to flit back and forth between things. Some of the blocks look super challenging. What have I gotten myself into???

My thoughts exactly, Farmchick. What have I gotten myself into?

Fortunately, I am fairly stubborn. I like your idea of doing several smaller quilts. That way I can group the blocks by size in case they are not all the same size.

Oh well, I am sure that I will learn a lot.

Ladies If you feel a block is too hard you may exchange another for it. Just let me know what block you changed. It is your quilt or in some cases quilts. Have fun. Kathy2

I scanned the book and found 4 that are appliqué. I could have missed a couple maybe? Anybody else?
