Good morning all! Hope to get some sewing done today. I plan on staying home all day. I have been running around for the last couple of weeks doing errands, visiting, and trying to get things done about DH's probate and stuff. Couldn't believe it. I was in and out of the Social Security office applying for widow's benefits in 25 minutes, and no problems. Never got anything done that quick before with the government. This morning the death benefit and the back S.S. payments were in my checkbook already. Hope I haven't "jinxed" myself by sharing this. LOL

Cindyg - Hope your doctor finds out what is wrong and gets you on the right meds. I want you to get over your pain.

Judi - So sorry about your virus. Did they give you antibiotics?

Mel - Glad your biopsy came with good results.

Maryq - Only a few more days until your "freedom". If I was closer I would come help you get her out myself.

Lois - Sounds like your new job is good. What exactly do you do?

Suzette - I agree with the others about writing a complaint about the doctor.

Chrissy1 - Have a great trip to see Mo in North Carolina. You will have a good time I am sure. What is he doing for his next training? So glad to hear how great Myles is doing.

Maryz - So sorry about your problems with Obamacare. That is one reason I am glad I am "old" and have Medicare. It might not be great but at least I got to keep my doctors and clinic. When I was working before retiring we had great insurance at my company. It covered 100% of almost all expenses for my DH's illness. Now with Obamacare they took away spousal insurance. Obama should be happy he is destroying our health care which he wanted to do. Better get off my "rant" and get something done.

Hope everyone has a good week. Prayers for all who need them.

Sherry

oK I am here LOL. Headache and all but I decided I had too much to do to lay and sulk with head throbing. So I cleaned both bathrooms, washed DD blankets and hung out, cleaned kitchen oh my was it a wreck, washed the 20 ziplocks out to reuse after cleaning out fridge, filled dishwasher, made beds, dusted AGAIN this week pollen is bad had windows open, cleaned out wood stove washed it down and closed it up for the year {I HOPE} if not we will use furnace lol, then finally got these wood floors mopped. Now i am sitting drinking glass water eating my bologna and chips and downing two more tylenol. Thats the upstairs done. After lunch will tackle dusting, straightening and mopping downstairs.

Washing towels and one more work clothes load and finally laundry is done. I really dont know how 3 people go through so much laundry.

I do plan to get in sewing room to sew some today too. I need to bind one more quilt for merryman house. I found nice sheet to back my Celtic mystery with so I will do that to make the Douve for my feather bed to put on spare rooms bed since winter is over LOL.

It is 70 and yup weather man missed the mark not a drop of rain so far. I would love to have that job can be wrong over and over and still get paid.

Obama care dont get me started. DD has medicaid but because her DR who she has seen since birth doesnt bill medicaid they have now stopped paying for anything he prescribes her: Meds yesterday cost me 25 bucks and would had only been 1 buck had medicaid picked up what my insurance doesnt pay. DR couldnt even tell me what my insurance would pay so they said they would bill me LOL Yeah that big of a change.
State wants me to use one of their forign doctors that know nothing about DD in order to pay bills. Not to mention their offices are overbooked and you may wait 2 hours to see dr even with appt. NO THNX to that mess. The foster gal we had used them and I could barely understand his broken english let alone we sat for 2 hrs out in waiting room and another 30 min in exam room. DD would go bonkers if she had to be in that environment that long. Ok will stop my soap box.

Cindyg I looked at that pattern and agree your crazy but it sure is beautiful cant wait to see yours finished:))

Well to the basement I go then to the sewing room while I am down there, thnxs for listening to me vent :))

I have a huge complaint.....I bought and entire bolt of Pellon 805 fusible , It was $2.99 a yard and the bolt containes 20 yards// I had some heat and bond so I was good up until I opened the new bolt....this stuff is horrible...the fusing separates from the paper before you even fuse it. After it is fused, it is difficult to separate. I was able to do some of the applique but have cleaned my iron numerous times. I wrote to Pellon but no answer,,,,,,Has anyone had this happen....? I told them I was going to post on my quilt group to see if they had a solution. Anyone else know what I could do thanks.... your the experts not these guys. XXXOOO
**********************************************************************
Pellon just emailed me....they are sending me a replacement bolt and shipping infor to send the defective product back to them. that was fast

Good afternoon....it is cloudy and cool here to day. Where did the sun go?

Suzette....that is sad! I would complain also. How do doctors like this stay in practice? I hope you get it right.

Chriss...how is the new cubicle? I hope you are sitting by the "cool" people!!!lol

Izzy...hope your migraine goes away and that dd feels better. I love your prizes you got! How nice :)

Chickie....we are staying with friends until the house we are moving into is ready in June and guess what the dog across the street name is? ODIE!!! he is a jack Russell mix. The dog is sweet but the owners not so much.

Well the kids and I are going to the mall to look for shoes for Cooper. I wish I could buy them at target or someplace but his foot is wide...very wide. Cooper is playing t-ball this year. Practice starts next week. I hope he likes it. When we get back from the mall I am going to make some pillowcases.

Hope everyone has a great afternoon.

Sharon

Home from road trip -got birdhouses and fabric as well. Snowed, grappled and rained the whole time out. Stopped now I am home.

Since getting home, I have scrubbed two of three bathrooms. The third doesn't need to be done, it's not built yet! LOL Dishes just beeped and my wrist is killing me - scrubbed too hard. Now it is play time! Finally!

Some fun today,
Jana

Hi......Desk is cleaned off & the backing is repaired. I'll sandwich it next.

Tomorrow I'm bringing my desktop & laptop to have my security program transferred to the laptop. So I'll be off line for a few days. I'll feel cut off from the world. BUT I'll be back!!

Maryz.....so sorry to hear about you Mamo. My new Mamo place was so very nice I'm sure that will happen for you too. Three hard working woman lost their jobs due to Obamacare....no care there.
they needed to keep the numbers low.

Jana...Congrats to Stu.
