Happy Monday!

We are at 10 with a wind chill of -3. The sun is shining so pretty and bright. Somehow, it isn't doing too much for the temp. Bummer.

DH had a rough night. He is on Coumadin so he is always saying he's cold. I reached over to give him a kiss and almost burned my lips. His temp was 103.4. Decided to stay up and keep an eye on him. Today, I have a call into 3 different doctors about the temp and other issues. We go in at 4 for a check up. I would not be surprised if he isn't hospitalized with cellulitis in his leg again.

While waiting on doctors to call, I did get things lined up for DD's wedding. I was Ma Bell on the phone calling all sorts of people!!

Suzette - Winter just won't let go! Sorry you have reschedule all of your appointments.

Jules - sitting in your sewing room and making plans sounds awesome. Enjoy the peace and quiet.

Vicky - Do you own a Harley? We had "rice burners" that we traded for the Harley trike. This year, we plan to burn the highways. As for my projects, I am making the wedding quilt and might try working on quilts for the DGS and great-grandbabies.

Mary Z - I "hate it" when I have to do something that I love doing. I did see the Corpus Christi was 34 this morning. I didn't realize that it could get that cold down there!

Judi - Is there really a temperature that is called 79? It has been so long that we have forgotten what that feels like!

Izzy - CEU's on line are the best thing ever. When I was working on my Master's degree, all classes were on site - either at a local school or on campus. Lots of driving was involved. As for the forecasted weather, we did not get any ice just about 4" of snow. And I love your quilter's brain.

Chriss - Birthday celebrations have become a very big deal at school. I always felt bad for the little ones whose parents could not afford the party stuff.

Tina - Hope you feel better with the kidney stones.

Kathy - Good luck with the tax papers. What a necessary evil they are.

Cindy G - I am glad that you had a great weekend relaxing. We are still too cold here for camping unless you are into survivalist type of camping.

Miriam - Your sun and our sun need to get it together so we can get warmer!!!!!

Jana - Having flowers with winter grass sounds great! We have winter snow covering the grass. It is pretty after a snowfall because the snow is white and not messy. But, I have seen enough of that particular picture!!! Your DD is a COO and DH's daughter is a Captain in the Navy. Both are used to issuing orders. Our DGS, Gabe, will be 3 in May. He loves to help but........

Better get things going. I have the strips cut for the kaleidoscope quilt and hopefully will start sewing them together.

Have a great day,
Diana

Good news. Our settlement for the re-fi is tomorrow. Yippe skippee! Still plugging away on the binding. Took a break and my son and I cleaned off the cars and moved them in the driveway so the city can plow. Hopefully they will do it. Plus he dug out the neighbor's walk. She has cancer in several places and is not doing well. I checked on her a little while ago and she is not feeling well. I asked her if she wanted me to call the rescue and she said no. I can't force her. Have a wonderful afternoon.

Still feeling yucky... have to run to grocery store... but then home for a nap. worked a bit ob lotto blocks this morning and then my machine acted up. I am too grumpy to argue with it so I am leaving it to sit alone and deserted in my sewing room...lol.

Speaking of which...I posted pics of my table...mess and all. Be brave! Let's share! Some of my online friends and I used to post pics to get to know each other... one week our dressers... our refrigerator doors... bathroom counters... gardens.. just to see what everyone's world looks like. I'll never judge... sometimes I can't find my sewing table for the projects stacked up!

I also posted Mystery blocks...ugh...don't like it... may look for new setting fabric. Not sure.

Well, off to the store and then to nap... HUGS! (I won't share my cooties!)

Sooz with the drippy nose!

Diana- ....UM no I don't own a Harley. My brother in law asked me to make him this quilt. I'm a very conservative person....Harley's don't fit the bill....
