Tia is here today with the babies :-) We ran to Sam's club this morning and then left Jovanna with Aunt Emily and went and seen my MIL. She loved seeing Timothy for the first time. Now I get to hold a little one while he sleeps, cause I get to spoil him a little :-) Being a Grandma is GREAT!

No sewing today.

Good morning afternoon Pals --
Been quite busy since Sunday trying to make my body move from all the cleaning. I really should get the shots but I don't want to gain the weight which makes it worse in the long run. Monday I slowly worked on the Braids. All the centers are now finished and 50 of the blocks have the triangles on them.
Yesterday was our quilting group Philanthropic Daytime sewing. I wish I had taken pictures of the braid sections we made in Christmas Colors using the http://www.cozyquilt.com/Aspx/ProductDe ... ductID=440. I have so many Christmas Strips in my stash that I think I will make this one myself.
Today I will be sewing with Jamie but I will be making the November Lotto Block and finishing up my October Lotto Blocks. With the Braids up on the wall I dare not take them down unless I am working on them one at a time.

Jana - Enjoy your sewing time. Daylight savings coming to an end November 3rd.

Vicky - You are so blessed to live close to your family. Please give Timothy a cotton kiss from Auntie T.

I wish I could comment but I only caught the top couple of posts. I need to be out the door in 5 minutes or I will be late :) :)
Hope you are all having a great day!!!! HUGE HUGS and Prayers

I was just going through today's posts and read mine from this morning. I forgot to tell you that I FINALLY have my surgery scheduled. It is going to be on November 22. That is the Friday before Thanksgiving. Now, I have to go get the pre op lab work done and all that stuff. I asked the nurse when I can go get my pre op law work done and you can now go 60 days in advance. I can't believe you can go that early. I am sorry about forgetting to tell you all.

I haven't posted much for a long time but have been keeping up with all the doings on the sew-ins, the lotto, the supper club, and the SBS blocks. Beautiful work, ladies!

Chrissy, I was so sorry to read that Myles is having such a bad time, and remembered that I had read about someone who has been able to keep her crohn's under control for over 30 years through diet and without medication. Her name is Barbara Kerr and her website is tasteofhealth.net. I came across her story in a book about the medicinal uses of activated charcoal. I will post this in the sew-in in case you miss the PM.

Suz, I'm a cancer survivor (stage 1) and I found that chemo was less of a problem than I had anticipated. I actually worked 4 days a week through those 3 months (surprised my oncologist) and felt pretty normal except for the 2nd and 3rd day after treatment. Know you will be OK!
