Wow! What a gorgeous quilt and what a beautiful story to go along with it. Make sure you document how special this quilt is by writing it all on the label. What a legacy this quilt will have as it is passed down through the generations!
Made for a special grandma by her special granddaughter. Hold tight to your memories of Nonny, Jacquie, and cherish them. Hugs~Marcia

Re: Almost too late
Thank you everyone for all of the kind of words! It has been a tearful and at times, a difficult day, but we're all hanging in there. Nothing definate has been decided about Nonny's quilt. My mother-in-law is a very special lady, and I truely hope she will accept the quilt, but I'm really not sure if she will. I'm pretty sure, when my DH and I gave Nonny the quilt on Sat, that was last time both my FIL and MIL saw Nonny too. The four of us went together to give her the quilt. The quilt just might be too bitter-sweet for either one to deal with. However, I did speak with my sister-in-law today, and she will graciously accept this quilt if Jackie would rather not (Yes, my mil's name is Jackie, too). So, I'm very pleased the quilt, will stay in the Ansell family.
Anyway, again, thank you for the kind words! Happy trails, jacquie
