You are all so sweet. You have really touched my heart with your comments. I thought that I might sell it because I couldn't stand the feelings that it would bring up. I have made other maple leaf quilt tops since then and I thought I would just not keep this one. However, I made it out of leftover scraps of tablecloths, dresses, ect., that I had sewn for my family. So it has memories that way too. If I take it to the cabin, the family will look at it and say, "oh that one is from my ...." and that means something to them. So I guess I will keep it after all.
