I was very tired last night so I didn't get a swingin' thing done in my sewing studio. I hope to get in there tonight. Y'all are doing great.

I got home from work just after 6 last night. I really didn't get as much done as I could have. I got one block completely quilted on the quilt for my neice's baby. I will work on it more before I leave for work this morning.
I have stuff to do after work and then church so I don't think I will be able to do any more on it today
.
Have a great Wednesday.

I finished piecing the back of my Christmas quilt, cut out some strips for my next locker hooking project, washed my new Fairy Frost fabric that came yesterday, and straightened out my cutting table a little last night. Tonight I hope to starch and iron the FF and get it put up and then start ironing the Natural Splendor fabric so I can begin to cut it out. Or I may work on some breast cancer blocks which I really would like to finish soon. I do have more stuff to clear off my cutting table and sewing table. For some reason they have gotten really messy. I can't stand to try to work in clutter.

What a wonderful idea. Most days I sit at work wishing I was home sewing. Then evening comes and it is home to make dinner, clean up, do a little laundry, talk to DH about our day and before you know it time has passed and it is time to go to bed. Maybe I should get up a little earlier each day and sew a needles worth before work. Thanks for the encouragement.

Last night I worked on breast cancer blocks and they are ready to mail. Tonight I HAVE to straighten up my room - it's a mess and I can't stand to try and work around clutter.

I find that hand sewing in the evening is very relaxing. I am making progress on hand sewing the binding by doing one or two threads every evening.

I finished my neice's baby quilt and started on a couch quilt for a "Use my stash" challenge. I will be working on the stash challenge as soon as I get ready for work.

No sewing Wednesday and not much Thursday. Last night I sewed setting triangles to the last of the 4-patches I need for my strippy quilt. I need 2 cut another 12 triangles and then the setting fabric. As far away from being a complete quilt top, I see the end in sight.

I had every intention last night of getting in my room and straightening is up and maybe iron fabric. Well, my dear cousin called from MO so I spent the early part of the evening talking to her. Then my show (Gray's Anatomy) came on so I worked on my locker hooking. By 9:00 I was too tired to get in my sewing room so.....the mess didn't go anywhere - it's waiting on me to come in there tonight.
