I've gone to two crafts shows in the last month, and I'm blown away at all the "new" things out there. I saw the potato bags...that one kinda baffles me, but their cute anyway. I bought one of the handtowel things that folds over the oven door. I have two patterns for that now. I just learned a quick table runner pattern from my guild. I particularly love the crayon rolls. I bought one to try to duplicate. My little girls will love them, and I know lotsa people at the Elem school that would love them too.
I saw the pot holder, folded, with a towel sewn at the fold. Then a button sewn on the front (for the loop to catch). That was really cute.
I've made a few aprons from purchased patterns.
I'd really like to try my hand at some homemade handbags too.
I love really everyone's ideas. Thanks for the link. I love the pincushion thread catcher. (i'm always picking thread off the floor or off my socks! lol)

I'm making ornaments for my aunts, uncles, and some of my cousins.
