I have decided not to do this swap. I think the little guys are very cute, I just have to get my other swaps stuff done. I took on a little too much with school starting up in a few weeks!

Alina -

Yes, please put me down for this one. Joann's is having a sale this coming weekend - FQ's are .99! I'll put this one into the September Jamboree if DJ is going to have another one.

Alina, what color background fabric were you thinking? I may try to make one tomorrow after work.

I was thinking natural muslin would look fallish with all kinds of fall colored tail feathers... what do you guys think?

Cheers!

I think the tan/beige muslin is good for the background color too. Then all those wonderful autumn fabrics can really "pop."
It's going to be fun!

The natural muslin sounds good to me for the background.

Okay, so we are making 12-8.5" unfinished blocks with a background of natural muslin due by October 10 - correct? The tablerunner takes 3 or 4. So I could possibly have 2 or 3 tablerunners out of this one swap. Now that sounds like a winner.

That is correct DJ, 12 8.5" unfinished blocks... and I guess we will go with the UNBLEACHED muslin for the background... if you can make all 12 different that would be wonderful... so we have more of a variety with fewer people...

Cheers!

OK, OK!! LOL I "tried" to ignore another swap (I have a gazillion UFO blocks), but - the turkeys have been calling me back for over an hour and I caved! Sign me up and I have plenty of Fall-ish/Turkey-ish fabrics to use up. The Dresden Fan is perfect for those smaller pieces.... Believe it or not, I'm totally out of unbleached muslin so will have to "force" myself to go buy more. VBG

Looking forward to a fun-filled swap with everyone! So it's 12 blocks at 8.5" unfinished - each one a little different.
