Thanks for the compliments, everyone! I should tell you that my friend owns a long-arm machine and has a quilting business. I take my quilt tops in to her because she is so talented. She does a beautiful job and her prices are reasonable...considering her quilting adds so much to the finished project. (Because I have taken many of my quilt tops in to her to be quilted, I have wondered if I should have put these 'investments' into a long arm for myself!!!!) However- the reality of it all is that I know my quilting would never measure up to my friend's quilting abilities...and I really don't have any space in my little house for a long arm!!!!
I am lucky to have such a talented quilter living so close! Guess that leaves more time for me to sew up quilt tops! LOL ;-)

Beautiful and love the colors, they just flow and i like the center also that really sets it off.. Her friend did a beautiful job on the quilting. Wish I could do that but it takes a lot of practice and my eyes are going bad so don't know how long I can sew. Have doctors appt again in April and afraid I will need more shots in the eye for the distortion came back again. Hard to cut fabric and see the fine lines on ruler. But am still quilting... and thankful for that.. The distortion makes every thing wavy looking... Oh well, could be worse and a lot of people are worse off than I am. I love your quilt and you need such a nice job.
