bit of "big-stitch" on table runners and wall hangings. Turn
bindings by hand (which I hate doing)

totally different reasons

Favorite Colors: *purple* (but I also like the color combo of navy blue, forest green, & a rich burgandy) However, I am discovering Earth tones and Autumn colors more and more appealing as I get to be a more 'seasoned' quilter! I love to toss in some brites every now and then just to bring some cheer to my sewing area!

Favorite Style of Fabrics: Kansas Troubles, Moda Marbles, Brites, and 30's (Heck- I don't think there is any fabric I would turn down!!!!) I love tone-on-tone fabrics because they make great "blenders"- esp. 'Fusions' line.

Hand or Machine Quilt: Because 95% of my quilt projects are queen-size quilts, everything gets machine quilted. Otherwise I would never get anything COMPLETED!

Brand of Machine: It's an "OLDIE" but a goodie: New Home sewing machine I got when I graduated from high school in 1973!!!!! (Does that make it an antique??!! LOL) I am giving some thought to buying a new one....
