They are all so pretty. I've always wanted to do an apple core but I've only seen them in country fabrics. Yours is gorgeous - like a water color. Another for my list.
How do you go about putting the backing on an apple core?

Wow! Love them all, but especially the Apple Core! I've been looking at the QuiltSmart Apple Core pattern as a possible future product. Don't know anything about the WonderArc pattern...I'll have to look into it. Thanks for showing us your beautiful work!

Re: Blue Quilts
Ladies, Thank you. But you still can't have my quilts. They are all spoken for -- except maybe the last one. I'm not certain where that one is going --yet. I started it thinks Project Linus, but I think it's too big.
Believe it or not, blue is not my favorite color -- but it is easy to work with. I love bright rich colors - emerald green, fushia, deep purple.
The apple core quilt does not have a binding. If you look closely at the picture, especially in the lighter areas, you may notice a little bit of dimension. That's because this quilt is made with 400 6" 'birthed' circle quilts. Here are a couple of links to the work in progress.

I see now. I didn't think I actually saw any binding, but it looked finished. So then what do you do for a backing? I'm very curious about this. THAT WAS A LOT OF BIRTHING...."I DON'T KNOW NOTHIN BOUT BIRTHIN NO CIRCLES." I'm sorry, I couldn't help but use that quote from GONE WITH THE WIND.

Re: Blue Quilts
So, the apple core one is add done with circles then, how cool! Blue isn't one of my colors either, but I did do a little blue quilt recently & really don't want to part with it, lol. I also keep thinking about doing another blues quilt, there are so many pretty ones out there, aren't there> Funny how different colors hit us like this...Your quilts are all lovely, by the way...
