Got my charms yesterday!

Just in time - received a phone call that someone I know is having TWINS next summer!

Two more packages of charms came back to me. I didn't know that if the package os over 13 oz you have to take it in person to a postal employee to mail it. So when I used the automated scale and double-checked the postage and used the drop off bin, it "wasn't allowed". I sent all of my Chriatmas gifts through the automated scale thing and all of them arrived safe. This must be a new "safety" measure. Although I'm sure a terrorist would not admit to trying to mail something that was dangerous. OH well....I'm going to re-mail them today.

Hi Lynn...received the wonderful I SPY charms today. What a great variety. Not one duplicate. I'm just about to go "de-bag" them and see exactly what I have. Thanks for all your hard work Lynn. Thanks too for the recipe.

Lynn...you rock...these are wonderful it was so exciting to see the envelope peeking out of my mailbox. I can honestly say with the exception of 1 square I have never even seen these fabrics before!!! And the 1 I have seen I regretted not buying it when I did see it....this is so fun!

I got my I spy blocks today. They are wonderful. I can't wait to get started on the quilt. Thank you everyone and thanks for the recipe.

I'm so happy to hear that everyone loves their charms so far! It was a long effort to sort them but it was neat seeing all of the different fabrics, especially those of you who sent charm packs that were each of them different from the other!

The two that I sent out today were Coyotequilt's 2 sets and Taunya's. Hope you get them within the week.

Please post more links for patterns if you have them. I'm still deciding what to do with the charms. I want to keep the charms as intact as possible.

Lynn, My fabrics came yesterday! Thanks SO much! You really outdid yourself--- I know that the sorting had to be a huge job, especially trying to sort boy/girl, etc...

All the fabrics were absolutely adorable--- everyone did a wonderful job in choosing--- so thank you all!!

I'm not sure what I'm going to do with mine yet. I really want to make a jar quilt-- so I'll probably save my bugs for that, and maybe the food ones too, because I would like to do a candy & cookie jar quilt too. I also have plans for all the cute dog and cat fabrics... I just love, love, love every charm I got!

I saw a really cute train quilt pattern that would be neat to make using the different charms for cars on the train. I think the pattern is at www.fatcatpatterns.com on the toddler quilt section under 2008.
