Wow, very nice blocks ladies. Love those bells, Dr. Seuss stocking, sure can fit a lot in that one! And Chriss's stockings all in a row. How cute are those. I best get to putting the pedal to the medal. Focused my weekend on making sure DGS got off with all he needed. I didn't think they were leaving till 6, out the door they went at 4:30. Also wanted to get some lotto blocks done.
A Friend is God's way of making sure we never walk alone!

Checking in on progress
Santa is well on to being done. I have all the pieces parts fused together and now to decide on the size of block he will go. Hopefully a picture later this afternoon.
Love all the creativity y'all have! Love all the blocks!

Jana, I can't wait to see your Santas! I know they'll be super cute!
Chriss, I hadn't thought about embroidering family names on the stockings the way Jana suggested. I may have to adopt you to fill in the extra stockings! Let's see . . . Bill, me, Scottie, Foxy, . . .

OK - here is Santa - he still needs eyes, I will use fabric paint for them and I need to do all the blanket stitching on the pieces. I also did the block way oversize, so I think that you can do him square or a rectangle, your choice.

Maryz, I think you need to just need to add another kitten or two so you can fill in those names! I really love the idea of adding names to the stockings, so cool!
Jana, Wowzer, love your Santa!

Wow, miss a day miss a lot.
Izzy, never thought to embroider names. I almost made the row 7 stockings long but it was too crowded. I was going to embroider a nail on each end and a string to hold up the stockings.
Jana, great block. Love that background fabric. I had thought of doing a block that said BELIEVE on it.
Tina, I never thought of adding names either. but, if you made individual stocking blocks and used them as filler blocks you could have names throughout your quilt. it would be cute.
