I just realized that purple and gold are the colors of our community college here and the main campus in Silver they must be popular color combos

My son's high school and college colors were green and gold. My high school colors were black and orange.

These purple and gold blocks really turned out great. I'm not sure what to use for sashing. Maybe white maybe black.

There is one more set coming and I will divvy them all up.

Be patient, While it was a small swap there is still almost a month before the blocks are due at my house. That rain storm over Texas sure put a hitch in things.

I'm sorry everyone, it's my fault. We had a friend fishing with us and visiting until just before we left a couple days ago. Now on our way home Tuesday, but had to stop in Fargo, ND, because of a recall on the Motorhome. It's done. Hope to be in Colorado and able to sew by Tuesday.

I'm not doing Secret Santa or any swaps. Too much going on.

And PS. there is nothing that should keep you from the SS swap. Every Santa needs an elf and yours it out there and what will your Santa do if you aren't her elf? Besides, it's fun and after so much junk fun will be nice.
