Re: UFO Support Group
I started Sylvia's Bridal Sampler in various fabrics from my stash w/o any thought. Ultimately I gave those blocks to someone to use in a comfort quilt. But basically, if I've got something to the block stage, it goes into the orphan drawer and I'll deal with it later. I recently found a string pieced LeMoyne star that is going to be the center medalion of a baby quilt. The outside blocks are from a mystery quilt gone awry a couple of years ago. I've also taken a dozen sampler blocks that I didn't like and split them into two baby quilts for a charity. They are cute in the baby quilt, but weren't good together.

I'm worse. One UFO that I didn't like right away, but went ahead and almost finished, then discovers an outstanding error right in the middle of it...Well, I just folded it up and put it in the trash. No quilt police came to my door and I was free to work on something I liked.
Usually I get them finished and donate them.

LOL Sandy. LOL I did do that just once. I had messed it up in the cutting process. Rather than go buy more fabric and start over after deciding I didn't really want to do it in the first place. In the garbage it went. Just like it never had happened. Poof! Gone! It felt good too I will say. LOL Shhhhh DH doesn't know. LOL

Great job Itchin2B - it's beautiful. All you need to do is quilt and bind it?

Looking good, itchin!
For my part, I've now rummaged (LOL, I actually don't know what that word really means, but it sounds right...) through my UFO pile, and found two projects I really want to finish. But, of course I'm short on fabric for both of them, so can't get onto that just now. Will need to order more Fairy Frost for one of them, and try to find a white on white for the other. How sad, it is always such a nuisance to have to buy fabric
On the other hand, I've just signed up for a new class at QuiltUniversity.com, and it starts now on Friday, so I may unfortunately have to initiate some new UFOs instead in the coming weeks

Re: UFO Support Group
Jan, great job on your project, I just finished piecing my Paducah table topper this morning. I plan to finish mine later this week I don't want to have another UFO especially since it was El's class.
I have been busy cleaning up my sewing room so I can get started back on working to finish more ufos. I have decided that I need to finish at least one ufo per month inorder to justify being in so many swaps and round robins. I am great at creating ufos, but now I need to finish some of my projects.LOL
