Quilt in a Day Forums

I may have missed something but are we all going to try to work on the same projects every week? I have been hearing about some pillowcases. Just curious. I think all of my little children are finally asleep. I'm still sewing binding on the quilt.

It's 11:15 here in FL and I just took a break from cutting fabric for making a little stuffed kitty cat. I don't think I'll be able to catch up on all of the posts!

Our local Moms Club is having an Angel Tree at our December festival. Names of needy families and children go on the tree, or names of families or people that have touched your heart in the past year. Then we put gifts under the tree for them. I'm not sure how they'll be distributed but I'm making a cat from a Cotton Ginnys pattern. It'll be floral, white, and red checkered. I found a wind up music box at the craft store to put in it.

Now I have to figure out how to weight it and how to get the music box in there securely!

Wow - What a bunch of Jabber Jaws!! lol Just getting on and you ladies have talked up a storm.
Kadie ~ I don't know how you could stand 120 degree weather! YUCK! I would just melt. But then they are talking about snow here on Thanksgiving, which I don't like snow or really cold weather either. Especially since 40 people will be coming to my house and all the kids will be stuck in the house, guess I will have to find some board games for the little ones to play

I am making some Santa Claus Placemats for a Christmas present, they are really cute, if I may say so myself lol

YRP...just adore the pix of you and Princess. She looks especially fetching in the boa, while due to your Royalty you simply must wear the tiara. I'm not sure which one of you is the prettiest!!! LOL

I'm finishing one more teddy bear and calling it a night. Gotta get up in the morning. Being a night person, it would actually be easier for me to stay up till the wee hours, but then could not make it through tomorrow.

No, no. Snowfights, snowmen, sledding, snowcones, snowballs to put in the freezer. Fun in daylight, and even more in darkness. Also snow shovelling....snowforts...

Tires them out, too. (Just be sure they use the facilities before going outside, and right after they come back in)
