happy dance...Noodles arrived at Mary's...my first batch that is the second are on their way :)
here is what I learned....

John took it to an annex(in a pharmacy) and the po yesterday said that an annex was not supposed to take envelopes that were over 13 oz. They told him that 1 of 3 things could happen..
1.It would be returned to the return address,
2. It would slide under the radar or
3. It would be sent to a postal inspector to scan before accepting it. I was feeling better that it would turn up but it is a day late for the noodles I sent Mary 60 new strips yesterday for the noodle swap ;) I think it was sent to a postal inspector since the postmark was over a week after John took it in.

Okay Gals The noodles are all here! I spent tonite sorting and stuffing and will get at least a few of the packages back out Thur AM and some Friday. I'll post a note of whose gets mailed when!

Now, a bit of a warning. (You would love if you had seen the noodles spread all over my family room floor) You may get 2 or 3 from the same person, you may get back 1 or more of your own. I counted each bag twice to make sure I had the right number, but after a few bags, my I could feel my brain drying up and as it was getting later and later--who knows! SO, if when your bags arrive you find that you are short or something else is awry, please let me know by PM!!! And I will do my best to rectify the situation! As hard as I tried to keep things straight I'm afraid that I may have missed something. I'm going to double check my list and make SURE everybody gets a package back!!!

All in all it was great fun.

OH and PS!!!! There's still time to sign up for Secret Santa. That SHOULD be a little easier to manage!!! I have a spread already set up for it!

Mary I can relate...When doing the red/blue I sorted them into piles and then let them rest (and my mind rest too) then re-counted when I stuffed the packages. I caught a couple of errors but having an excel spreadsheet helped me double check my count. It is quite an undertaking and I thank-you for doing this for us noodleheads!
