Chriss, wonky baskets hmm, never seen any pics of those. I have had some trouble with log cabins being straight, but I found if I use quilt shop fabric and iron really well after each go around I have better luck.
Valerie, pretty blocks! Fun fussy cuts train and truck.
My blocks will be on their way today.

I love how fast these scrap blocks go this swap. I'm working my way through my stash, but have lots of smaller pieces I'd love to use up too.
The fussy cut cars are adorable! Love them.
This bento box might go fast for a swap.

I like how some of these have an additional color added to unify the blocks.

Vinae, the wonky baskets are cute. they are all different shapes and use up some scraps. Marygo had e-mailed me a picture of them. One day I will try the log cabin again. When I signed up for the fabulous forty BOM I got a Log Cabin ruler, one day I will give it a go.
Beverly, great link, and it really would use up those scraps. As I was cutting the piece off of the 3 1/2 inch square that I had sewn on the 2 inch square to I was wondering if anyone was gong to sew those little triangles together and how many would it take to make a quilt. I think that one day you should give hosting a shot, this would be a great block for you to start with.
Maryrose, dig in those couch cushions, recycle your soda cans, you'll come up with the postage, I have faith.
Marygo, great bow tie lay outs. My favorite is the kind of zig zag one. There really are lots of choices. Pinterest has scads of choices also. I have no clue yet how I will put mine together but I do know this is my new go to block.
I don't get to sew during the week. Just don't feel like it after working all day. but the weekends are all about me.
You gals make swapping fun.
Chriss

Mary go- Nice layout pics. Lots to choose from.
Chriss- I tried sewing the little pieces that we cut off on the triangle and it is so tiny, I don't think it is worth it. I have done that with bigger ones though and made borders for table runners, place mats etc. I love to use up even those scraps if they are big enough.
Beverly- the bento box does look good to use up scraps. I found a few more that would use up small scraps too. They are just basically small versions of regular size blocks. I will try a few. And I agree with Chriss, you should host a swap on here.
