It's a good day when you think you need 16 - 5 inch squares so you select a different fabric than the one you really wanted to use only to re-read the directions and only need 8 squares and can use the fabric you originally wanted to use

I am the luckiest quilter ever! Yesterday, I received a package from my Secret Santa! (This month is birthday!)

It had a panel to make my DGD a soft book, and some fabrics for the ISpy quilt I want to make for her!

Chriss, I hate to break it to you, but ain't no way you're doing a quarter seam on most of those pieces. And they look more rec-tangled up, not square.
