Okay, maybe "borrowed" would be a better word...! I put the pencils back when I was done, honest! I did not need to be reminded to return them, either...unlike when the kids "borrow" *my* stuff <ah-HEM!>

With all the back-to-school supplies on sale now, perhaps I will go buy my own box of colored pencils and HIDE THEM!

I like the colored pencils that are automatic, those come in a variety of colors, and you don't have to keep sharpening them.

Automatic colored pencils? You can tell it's been a long time since I bought school supplies. LOL I will have to look for those auto pencils, they would be handy.

Do we have to use 100% cotton in this swap?

I didn't say, did I???

Yes, I think we should all use 100% cotton, unless anyone objects.

Ok, I am offically in this swap. I went to 3 or 4 LQS with Fabricangel (she is so sweet) today and found 2 fabrics that would be just perfect. The first is a purple fabric with leaves in gold and russet, with "Kentucky, Ohio and Indiana" written on it. The only problem was, I could pay for this fabric now but I can't have it until their shop hop in Septmeber. So I bought it and Judy will pick it up for me then. Did I say how sweet she is? Then in another shop I found another leaf fabric in goldish tones that goes very well with the first fabric, and some FF that might work, too. Or did I find the FFs in the first shop? Anyway, I just need to pick a pattern and I'm good to go!

Started some cutting this am. Had errand to run after work and go check on Dad so just got home. Will cut some more tommorrow. Camping this weekend so won't get much done. Another Scout thing. We have an Eagle Scout Court of Honor though on Sunday so coming back early. This is a boy whose father died very young from drug and alcohol abuse and his mother is still into it all. He was raised essentially on the streets until our cubmaster took him in and he has finally turned his life around and now getting the results of it. We are all so proud of him we can hardly stand it. This is one of those kids who could have gone either way and for awhile we just held out breaths. But here he is, big as life, and he made it all the way.
A Friend is God's way of making sure we never walk alone!

FINALLY got my two machines back in good running order! I did some cutting for the fall swap on Friday, will do some more today but it means kicking the kids off the kitchen table--! Should I bribe them with some television? Aaaak!
