Does any one know of any great patterns that are free on the internet or maybe in one of the QIAD books that uses charm squares?

I need some ideas.

I have a few questions regarding the Charm exchange and am thinking about signing up but not sure about a few things (my first swap).

1. If there are 40 people, then we send 80 5in squares, two to a baggie (40 baggies, 2 sqs)?

2. No two squares are alike?

3. Can we use Charm Packs?

4. Can we mix stash and Charm Packs?

5. Can we use LQS fabrics if we decide to cut our own?

6. Mail the 40 baggies w/2 sqs to Leetec in one large baggie?

7. Is there a theme (Christmas, childrens, color) or just anything goes?

Sorry for the questions, but only have till 6:00pm (Calif. time) to sign up.

Thanks for any information.
Have Fun,

REPOSTED FROM EARLIER: Put 2 charm squares in each ziplock baggie for each person in the swap. Please make sure both charms in the baggie are different. Please put your screen name on each baggie. You may put your real name and address if you want to, but please don't feel you have to. The baggies are for the protection of the fabric and also to make it easier for me to sort them, plus I like to see who sent which charms so it makes if more fun, I think. :) Oh, please mark on your baggies if you have prewashed the fabric or not. I would recommand putting all of your smaller baggies into a gallon size ziplock bag and marking it with your real name and address before putting it in a mailing envelope just in case something happens to it while it's being mailed. That way the PO can send it back to you if the mailing envelope is damaged. Please included a return envelope with your address and postage so I can mail your new charms back to you as quickly as possible.

Oasis - I'm doing a scrappy assortment for mine, probably cutting from my stash as I don't have many 5" charm squares. And what few I have I'm using for my Magic Vine quilt. Hope this helps you.

I'm going to put my answers in caps so you see them better. I'm not shouting, honest. :)
1. If there are 40 people, then we send 80 5in squares, two to a baggie (40 baggies, 2 sqs)? CORRECT

2. No two squares are alike? YOU MAY USE THE SAME FABRIC AS LONG AS EACH BAGGIE CONTAINS TWO DIFFERENT FABRICS.

3. Can we use Charm Packs? CERTAINLY

4. Can we mix stash and Charm Packs? OF COURSE

5. Can we use LQS fabrics if we decide to cut our own? YES

6. Mail the 40 baggies w/2 sqs to Leetec in one large baggie? YES, I WILL PM MY ADDRESS ASAP. in fact, I'm planning to do that now for those who are already signed up.

7. Is there a theme (Christmas, childrens, color) or just anything goes? ANYTHING GOES, JUST HAVE FUN WITH IT!

Sorry for the questions, but only have till 6:00pm (Calif. time) to sign up.
I forgot to take the time difference into account, I'm sorry. I'll check this site Saturday after I get home from work to see if anyone else signed up.

Are we still sending these at the end of August? I'm cutting mine this weekend, so I can send them whenever you want.

I can't wait. I am getting my fabric this weekend and will be getting it ready to go out. I have a 10% coupon from my lqs. I have been saving it just for this.
