I think you'll enjoy the secret pal swap. Any gift that you think your pal would like is fine to send. We're supposed to keep it at $5, per Cindy's orders, but I think some of our fabulous forum friends are rule-benders at times.

For me, I really appreciate everything sent to me. BUT if I had to choose I would say that I enjoy having something from where the sender is from - this could be as simple as a postcard. I once rec'd the most amazing magazine dedicated to traveling in AZ and places to stop and see. Those are the sorts of things I couldn't get for myself living here in Nova Scotia.

I met my Secret Pal SewSew in Paducah! Here's what she sent me. I just love it!





There was a plant sign in it too that reads "Gardeners know the best dirt". It has found a new home in my office at work.

Thank you, Jenean (Quiltingtime), for the wonderful "Care Package"! I loved, loved, loved the cute note cards with the quilter going through the days of the week. (Monday is shopping day; Tuesday is back for more day; Wednesday is cutting day; Thursday is ironing day; Friday is sewing day, Saturday is workshop day, and Sunday is quilt with a friend day.) These cards are so colorful and cheerful! Can't wait to send a note on one of these cards to a fellow quilter!
Also loved the FQ of purple (my favorite color) and the package of M&Ms! YUM! You were a wonderful SP and I feel blessed! Big {{{HUG}}} to my new friend: Jenean!

PS I got a kick out of the postal worker that said your package was going to a "remote" area!!!!! (However, I have to give them credit for accurately predicting the arrival date of this package: April 23rd!!!!);

Itchn2Bstitchn- Thanks for posting a picture of what you received... it really helps us newbies who don't want to disappoint any of you wonderful ladies!

I have been having a great time searching for prizes and cannot wait to get a secret pal in May... I actually ran by QIAD just before it closed this evening and picked up a really fun small unique prize for my Secret Pal... don't know who she'll be yet but hope she likes it!

Anywho keep the pictures coming gals... it is fun to see what everyone is getting...
