Lovely package in the mail today.

A magazine called Arizona Highways with an article called "Pie to Die For". You know that's gonna be good. Full of amazing photographs too.

I really love the 4 postcards she sent. I'm a bit of a postcard junkie. It's the first thing I buy when I travel. I figure I'll never get such a professional looking photo of a given scene or landmark. I always end up with parts of people walking through my pics. LOL

I have some nice fabric that's hard to describe. It's a medium gold, with a bit of shimmer, all over with a small, repeated flower motif in blues and purples with accents of green leaves. The motifs are spread apart, it's not at all busy. An overall horizontal pattern of wavy white lines. I think it will go perfectly with a fabric I picked up in ME.

I don't mind sugar in my gum but I really don't like all those artificial sweeteners and whatnot. Glee Gum is my favourite and not avail. here in NS. I should have bought more when I was in MD.

I have already explained that mom will NOT share this gum as it came from a friend.

I am so very thankful that Dawne received her package!!! Dawne, QIAD sold that fabric at one time, but I can't remember who's line it is or the name of it. But you said you liked metallics..so I was really hoping you would like it. The fabric has been washed and ironed (back side) with TLC..just so you know. Today has been a VERY good day..If I had known you couldn't get glee gum there - I would have bought more!!! We have a natural foods store called Trader Joe's here and that's where I found it. I shop there and a couple other natural foods places quite a bit. I am doing the dance of joy!!!lol

Hello Judy of Oswego. Your package came yesterday. Yes, I love the FQ and that it has the name of the quilt shop on it. Mmmmmm thanks for the Pure Dark Chocolate. Now this pressing cloth IS wonderful. I have never seen one like this. I have all ready used it.

Quiltingnana50, I received your package this afternoon, and was tickled to see what you had sent me. I love the Christmas fabric and the snowman fabric, you knew just how to make me happy. Of course, I love the lifesaver mints and the peppermint patties. Thank you for the lovely card. I had been to the store, got home and the package was waiting for me. Kind of glad that no one saw me, I felt like a little girl at Christmas. I really do like everything. Thanks again.
