I SPY Swap---Last charms went out 2/27--PHOTOS ADDED

Well...I blew it. I put 3 charms in the February 5" charm swap and 2 in this swap. I meant to do the opposite. I think I have been in my sewing room too long.

here is one I did last fall...the left overs are some of what I sent

it really does lay flat this is over the brick wall and before it was quilted (stitch in the ditch)

Carolyn, that is so pretty! I love the pattern. What size blocks did you use--- were they 6 1/2 inch? Also, how did you add the diagonal stripe? I think that is one of the prettiest I Spy designs I've seen!

those are 6 1/2 inch blocks and the pattern is on the Mccalls web site..a free one I put the link with the photos in that thread. I will go copy and paste it here too. I did 4 quilts I Spy and that one ended up being my favorite too. The only variation I did from the pattern was split one square and then sew it back together with the diagonal. If I remember correctly the pattern has you rearrange the half squares. The pattern is a "stash buster' pattern

I also used El's tossed 9 for one and it turned out cute too. I need to have my nephew take a photo of that one because the only one I have has Regan stretched out on top of it and although she is precious the quilt can't really be seen
