Here are the 3 different Sue's I made. The placements are finished on all 13. I just need to stitch them down. I will be doing this over the next number of weeks so that I can work on the comfort quilts, Valerie's quilt and do the Lotto Blocks. Hope you like them.
Oh my!! The Tibet and Russian Sue's are fabulous!!!! We are being very talented & creative aren't we!?!
I LOVE them all!!! All the Sues!!
(Just an observation, I notice there are 15 Sue's left, will we have a 'International Sunbonnet Sue 3'? next year? or shall I consider making the last 15 myself??)
Keep the pictures coming girls! They're great to see!!!
Jacquie, good question. .... I'd love to do ISBS3 for the remaining ones. ... you all will need to let me know if you'd like that and when.
Loving all your Sue's, you all are doing great!
Tina
Unless I am not remembering right this makes 33 which makes 17 left and YES I am in for a Round 3. I LOVE all the different fabrics everyone uses. Fabrics that I myself would not buy. Plus it is FUN to have a quilt made by many along with the wonderful memories. Great Suggestion Jacquie!!!!
Hi Teresa, I hope things are ok with you both and you got on ok today with your appointments!!
lol... It states that there are actually 49 blocks in the book, I am definitely in for another round after this one...
I did plan to split up the blocks I will have into 2 quilts for the girls, but I think it would be an absolute shame to split them all up. It will have to be a Nana quilt lol, I may get more granddaughters yet!! Who knows!!
(Tina, I think Germany is still up for grabs? but not on the list above...)
Hugs all! Jacquie xxx
p.s I know which one I will do in the 'ISBS3', I spent a couple of years in Saudi Arabia when I was younger as my Father worked out there for a few years... So I will definitely have to make Arabia next time! Great memories!!
I would be up for a third swap to finish off our Sue's. I was already thinking I would take Arabia, given my belly dancing background. But since that has already been Dibs'd I would like to claim Poland in honor of my Polish husband.
As for this swap, my Sue's are ready for the mail. Just waiting to see if we have any last-minute sign-ups
