We'll just keep a list here of the months and the hostess. Sharon has a good list going there! Then as the months get closer we'll open up a sign up list for each month. It's much to soon to start them for Feb. and beyond don't you think?
So we have a very good start on the swaps through May. Cindy B said she would host April if you want to add her to the list Sharon.
Have fun everyone!

To All: Here is the list of hostesses & colors from the 2008 topic so that there won't be many doing hostess work. Sharon V (I am getting confused with just Sharon--there are 3 of us here)
November hostess is lacw, color is blue(SIGN UP UNDER NOV CHARM SQUARE SWAP?)
December hostess is MaryMargaret
January hostess is CoyoteQuilts (SIGN UP under 2008 topic
February hostess is Abbigail, colors are neutrals, browns, beige
March hostess is Sharonmamaw, colors are pink & red
April hostess is scrappie66, fabrics that read solid from distance
May hostess is Evie, theme is flowers only-no batiks, flannels or homespuns
June hostess is WeSignificant, 1800's fabric
July hostess is mequilter9158 1930's fabric
August hostess is SewSew patriotic fabrics any season
Hope this helps. Sharon V.

I was going to ask for July, but I see someone beat me to it. I will take August with patriotic prints for any season.

Are we going to set a maximum number of participants? It is always easier if there is a set number so that cutting out and mailing won't be such a problem. Do we send addressed postage paid envelops or is each hostess deciding how to handle postage?

How about, instead of limiting the number of participants, we just limit the number of sets, for instance, 30 sets of 2 fabrics. If only 15 people sign up, then maybe we could vary the fabrics in the sets that we send. But, it would always be 30 baggies with 2 charms in each one. And the hostess would divide them up.
Does that sound okay?

I agree with Evie. I vote for 30 sets myself. That way when I start cutting them I can do several months ahead. I would say include a S.A.S.E. with enough stamps (not metered postage)for your return pkg.
