WOW! What a gorgeous quilt! Great work with color placement! I never would have thought an Apple Core patch could look so spectacular; you hit it out of the park, girl!

Thank you everyone for the kind comments. I don't know exactly how long it took me to make. I worked on it off and on for a year - collecting the blues and cutting 6" circles before I ever sewed a stitch. Once I had all my fabrics I sorted them and started sewing in October. I kept them sorted and in order by running a thread through them. My goal was my dh's birthday, 12/29. I only missed it by 2 days. It was the last quilt I finished in 2005 -- about 8:30 PM that evening!
