Yep, choc. chip cookie with a good cup of coffee is fantastic. I agree there. Actually you have 2 fabrics and they would both work very nicely. I do like the first one but it is kind of busy and won't show your quilting as much if that is what you want. The cookie fabric would show it off better. Soooo either one.

Buy both. Cut a big center block out of one fabric then put large borders around it from the other fabric. Lots of people are doing pieced backs these days.

Good idea Evie. I like the idea of a cookie border.

And good point Cathy the quilting would show better on the cookie one. I don't know how I want it quilted yet. I'll have to wait and see how the blocks look.

If you are going to have fancy quilting it would show up better witht he cookie fabric. Otherwise I would choose the first because it is busier and more colorful and won't show the quilting so much.

I like the first fabric, would be a great outer border. The second fabric would show up quilting very well.

I would get the first fabric and a bag of chocolate chip cookies to eat while you make the quilt. It sounds good to me!
