Re: A much needed break
Insane seems to be the theme lately. Saturday was Prom day for a few local schools. I'm surprized we didn't have teenagers fighting in our waiting area. "No it's my turn!!" Screaming and hair-pulling!!
We did manage to really p**s off a few though. Their tickets got lost, they got skipped several times, and left very angry!!
I heard today that there's another Prom this Saturday!!
Calgon, TAKE ME AWAY!!
I am so looking forward to our trip this June to Cinci, OH. We're gonna stop in GA on our way home to visit GP.
Rumor has it, she's gonna make us a peach cobbler.

Hey, Florida! Hate to tell you this, but if you're coming by my house hoping to find some "sanity"...you might want to keep driving! LOL! Yep, it's no rumour...you'll have peach cobbler at my house!

QIAD Linda, you are so sweet! I was touched to hear that you would want to meet me but, sadly, San Marcos is too far out of the way on my route to Julian. (You know, if you have a lovely, dark-haired, adult daughter who is also a quilter, I think we have already met at Cedar Glen...)
Will you be at camp next week?

Thanks, y'all, for the good wishes! I *always* have a good time at quilt camp, even the year I came down with the flu and spent most of one afternoon in my bunk! A crappy day at quilt camp is still better than any other day, just about anywhere else!
These get-aways really help keep me going without doing a Norman Bates or a Joan Crawford on someone and keeps me off the government sponsored "3 hots and a cot" program! I told DH if that's all it takes to keep me sane, it is more than worth any minor inconvenience he may deal with while I am gone, and he is in complete agreement!

Carolej, I rolled with laughter about the gov. sponsored 3 hots & a cot program. LOL Haven't heard it put that way before. My ESIL used to work at the Co jail here and I have heard it called a lot of other things though. LOL ENJOY yyour weekend! I will be thinking of the wonderful time you will be having.

Thanks, Cathy! I will do some early morning stitching in your name!
Counting the days until MONDAY, if I don't go stark raving mad before then...

LOL! I used to work at a Co. Jail in MT - I would say it was "work release" - they would let me work and go home!
