Good afternoon everyone,

Went to open sew, dropped off DGS quilt and made some progress on new baby quilt. I am having to make adjustments as I go as the panel I have is 2 inches shorter than the pattern calls for. But that's fine. It is a simple pattern to just trim here and there and make things fit.

Chriss we had some fog but more so yesterday that today. It is cold and moist though. Tomorrow should be 54 with low of 45. We will see what really happens. I do have some exercises the dr gave me until I can get into PT. They are more like stretching. He doesn't want me to aggravate things after the prednisone and walking is pretty hard for me. I may look and try it though. I think I am going to forgo the Storm at Sea for now. Too many other projects in the works. Funny, when I was trying to play video games with DGS he told me I should probably just stick to sewing!

Lori I am not a wool person but it never occurred to me that wool may not be pure. I really itch when I wear wool so I don't wear it. I have a nice purple sweater from Cabela's but it's 30% wool. Has been hanging in my closet for several years now.

Lyn did you get the jeep fixed? How was your visit today?

Jana I am backing you up with the 9ers! I am trying not to be too hopeful but .......The Seahawks are a good team and yesterday's game was quite the nailbiter I hear. Praying everyone gets well and can play.

Maryq 4*! That is frightening cold! I hope you stayed put. The prednisone really helped more than I thought it would. Oh yes, the weight gain. It was only 40 mg though for 5 days. I did have some sleep problems and a headache (still have the headache) but it was otherwise okay. The Pirouette pattern I just did calls for a jelly roll and charm pack if you have them from the same collection. And it's one of those patterns you can make as big or as small as you want.

Judy take care of that back. Mine was getting to the point that walking was really a chore. And it happens so easily when we are our age. We never put Christmas up this year since nobody was coming so no put away needed.

Flo did you get the dress done yet?

Maryz I looked at that pattern, I may think about it. I really want to focus on what I have started already for this year.

Tinab sounds like a day for you to stay in also.

Well dinner is ready so off I go. Have a great evening and sweet dreams for tonight.
A Friend is God's way of making sure we never walk alone!
