May get up to 79° today.
Do you hear that ........ silence. Just Minnie and me.

MaryQ, You're not alone, I'm still in jammies.

Stacey and Layne left Thursday and got home to Golden, Colorado, at 1 a.m. Friday. They made a stop at Buc-ee's in Amarillo. Stacey hasn't been to one, even though there's one north of Longmont, where MaryZ 's sisters live.

Yesterday morning Amanda, Maddox, Kaylyn and I went into Marble Falls and had an early lunch. Kaylyn headed back to San Antonio. The rest of us went to see Garry. Then Amanda and Maddox headed north. I fed Garry lunch, then spent the afternoon with him, he slept, while I tried addressing some Christmas cards. 2 of his high school classmates called me. I had some stops to make before I finally got home at almost 7. Poor Minnie was sure glad to see me. Then, with a glass of wine, there's phone calls and texts to update family. Dinner was a Marie Callendar chicken and dumplings. It was good enough to buy again.

We have some kind of trees with little leaves that are all brown and on the ground now. Amanda's dog, Moose, is a little white fluffy thing that the leaves liked. I now have little brown leaves throughout the house. At least that's better than the live Scorpion Kaylyn saw on the living room floor. Instead of killing it, she took a disposable cup and sticky note, caught it and threw it out on the road.

Amanda just called, she's in Woodard, OK, at a tire shop. Luckily she heard the leak when she'd stopped and wasn't out on the road between towns.

On my second cup of coffee. Hoping it helps. I woke up more tired than when I went to bed. I will head to visit Garry after lunch. I'm going to see if I can find a little bottle of Egg Nog. He likes that, I don't, but that's something I always buy him this time of year. I'm also taking a little acrylic Christmas tree I have. I have put 2 tiny strings of lights on it that run on AA batteries. There's a chest of drawers at the end of his bed, so he will have a good view of it.

Amanda just called, it was a bad valve stem. She's back on the road.

I hope everyone has a good weekend.
Lyn
