Jana, sorry about the chair. Mine needs replacing also. Which one did you get? Seems there are thousands of chairs out there. I've been using a cheep office chair and it's not happy.

Chriss - here's the link on Amazon for my new chair. I checked the reviews and one said a problem of leaning back and feet on the desk broke the chair. I don't do that. The main reason for this chair was the available height from floor to seat. This one goes to almost 24 inches. I hope. It totalled 160, free delivery. Oh, the weight limit on that chair is waaaay high. Many I found had a top weight limit near to what my fluffy tush weighs now. So i ended up with a very high limit, way more than is needed. I don't want to stress the weight limit on the hydraulics .

Great chair Jana. Love the back support I didn't think about weight limit. Your fluffy tush ain't as fluffy as it used to be. Let me know how you like it as you use it. I also don't put my feet on the desk and lean back, very difficult to operate a sewing machine in that position.
