I think I have an idea

this is maybe but I think I will do a "Tomte Santa Claus" it's a Fat Cat design I have that came in 3 different sizes, I just have to figure out the right size for a 12.5" square. I'll test my theory today and will let you know if it works.

I’d love to do a Christmas tree with a kitty. I found a cute pattern, but the block is too big. A size 16, but I can probably tweak it so 12 1/2. Would it be okay to add a black cat to the color scheme? I could make it silver. Which kitty do you like the best, with the tree?

I have Maryz's angel, Maryq's fat Santa, and Beverly's tree with a kitty. All great blocks. I know the three of you are still in the planning stage so if for some reason you need to change something just let me know and if it's not taken it can be changed.

Yay Bev! Welcome aboard! It's so nice to see you! And you know me - love the cat idea, and if you look at my avatar, I'm sure you'll see what color cat I'd vote for - but I'm not the boss of this shin-dig. I'm just happy someone is making a block with a cat!

I tried a sample block today. This is my angel. The block turned out to be 13 1/2 inches so there will be lots of room to prune it. I hope you like her. Or him. We always say her. Can boys be angels, too?

I was going to make my practice wreath today but that didn't happen, I may go pick fabric while Frankie is busy after supper. It's Dad's night to eat here. I hope I have the fabrics I need

Tonight I am going to decide on a block. Not quite sure what it will be just yet but I do have plans for it to be posted tonight.
