OK, I've got all my sewing room fires banked for the moment and am working on four lotto blocks when I realized pinwheels can turn in different directions! Thank goodness I haven't sewn them together yet. I'm going to check out the sample blocks Mary Q and Val made and do mine the same way. Whew!

Chriss, your pinwheels look dark. Must be how the light is. I hate how taking pictures change the shades and colors.
I need to check my shades of red and see if I have enough. I am pretty sure I do. I want to cut my squares and get started.

I got four blocks made this morning. They are going in the mail one of these days soon. My red is fire engine red.
One thing I learned about these blocks is to use SCANT quarter-inch seams.

Vel don't fret too much about what color red. Red is red. If it looks red, use it.
