I have 4 of my 8 blocks finished. I cut my strips a couple threads wider than 2.5" and I added 1/4" to the length of the strips to give plenty of trimming room at top and bottom of block. I used SCANT 1/4" seams when sewing the strips together lengthwise and they are coming out just barely 12.5" wide. I like this block but it is definitely unforgiving.

We are here to practice, practice, practice! I am still cutting. Having a hard time with my cut finger on the Rotary cutter

Chriss, I love your vibrantly colored blocks!
I mailed mine today and they should arrive Monday, March 6th, so Mary, be on the lookout. Hope the snow doesn't keep you from your mailbox!
