Oh Caroline, I am so sorry you lost your hubby today. I can feel the sadness in your words and know that you are heartbroken. May God bring you and your family comfort, and peace, and hope in this sad time. May you feel the support of many angels surrounding you with love and caring and prayers.
Hug Natalie and Nathan both and share your grief with them. But also share happy memories. Let them know that those memories are a part of their PAPA, left behind and tucked into their hearts so he is still with them and always will be. Children understand more than we realize. Hug them often and let them talk about him, it will help you both.
Knowing he is with Jesus has to be a comfort, free from the pain he has endured for so long. May God bring you strength and courage and hope and much support in the sad days ahead. We are all here for you, praying and sending our love and a piece of our own strength and words of encouragement to help you and your family.
