Glad this popped back up. I know it's not until after the holidays but I am gathering winter sewing projects now because we go south in less than 5 weeks. I want in! And I'd like to do Romania. I assume backgrounds to be the same as the previous swap? This is something to look forward to in that post-holiday slump!

I know this isn't until after the holidays, but my neighbors DGG was in the peace corp, she did 2 1/2 years in Africa. She gifted me a couple of nice pieces of material that she got in Africa so I'm going to choose Africa for my doll if you don't mind.

Joan that sounds lovely!!

I'm actually thinking I will make the 'Welsh' doll as I'm from the UK and the English, Scottish and Irish dolls have already been made.

I'm actually going to make a slight alteration to the doll too as the picture (style) is incorrect, and I'm sure you all would want to the doll to be correctly dressed! I will make a sample first so everyone can see want I'm meaning. Not huge differences, but enough for me as a UK person to know that she isn't correctly dressed for a welsh doll lol...

It will be lovely to have ALL of the dolls!!! I can't wait. I really enjoyed the 'first round'. The Scottish doll was a lot of work, but, oh so worth it!!!

I love how Denise has made up her quilt with the darker sash's and borders!! Perfect!!

See you all soon in the '2nd round'!!

Hugs Jacquie xxx
