Wow, Deb, what an amazing man! I am crying, too, and I am at work! LOL

How wonderful to know how much you meant to him. Hope you take his words to heart.

Hugs,

Deb thanks for sharing your letter from Bernie. When did he die? You were lucky that he had the time to write such a memorable note. How long were you married? My DH Harold died in February and even though he had been bedridden for 2 years he was not near "death's door" until he got pneumonia and was gone in 5 days. Bernie's note though sounded just like what Harold would have written to me if he had known. After 47 years of marriage we had everything worked out if something happened to either of us. I miss him so much but it is easier since I know I can make it on my own. I do have my 2 grown sons to lean on if I need it. You will be in my prayers since we have something in common. God Bless You Deb!

OH, Deb, What a beautiful and thought provoking letter. Bernie must have been sent from heaven at a time you truly needed someone for your life and your heart.

I know he came at a time when life was so harsh and you were so sad. Like an angel, he came just in time to rescue you and your family, and show you all love and happiness and doing things to make memories for all of you. There is a time and a season for everything under the sun. Bernie was here for a season, albeit a short one, but remember all the wonderful things he did in that short time you had together.

Please know that he is in heaven, watching over you and yours. That letter and the timing of finding it, were due in this season. Bernie seemed to know what you needed and when you would need it the most. The love in that letter is the sweetest love note I have ever read.

May God bless you and your family today and all your tomorrows. God does indeed send angels in our time of need. Bernie was your angel and he left you with so many memories. Cherish those, talk to him whenever you feel the need, and know too, that God is always with you too.

Thank you so much for sharing this very personal, loving letter. I feel so special that you allowed us to be a part of your life thru these words. May you be filled with love and hope for a better tomorrow. Follow his advice. You can do it and you will be in our prayers as we encourage, pray, and send lots of our own love and hugs from all over the world. WE are here for you anytime you need us.

Love and hugs, dear friend. Shirley Mae

What a wonderful, caring, loving man your husband was and always will be. To take the time and write the list out was a great, and powerful gift given to you. It seems he knew you well, and loved you deeply.
Remember what he has said, and also remember the love that helped him write it. It may seem that you only had him here on earth for a short time, but it was much longer than many ever get.
Take care of yourself as he wanted you to, and know that his love surrounds you always. Joan

Oh my God! I'm crying already reading this touching note, so beautiful.. Just a reminder to all of us to put in writing our wishes after death, that can save plenty of troubles for family later.

Remember I told you families can be a real stinker, but blessings will come your way in form of angels, well there it is..

Thanks for sharing, it is so great he wrote this to you and you found it.. Also, know something intuition led you to the letter when you needed to read it..

Your Bernie was truly a special one. He was your husband and your best friend. Special men like him were put on earth for a reason. I am glad that you found him and he found you.
