Good morning,
I have sheets in the washing machine, the dishwasher unloaded and will take my shower shortly, after the washing machine stops. In the mean time I am going to do a little hand sewing and get that finished.

With the energy I have I may be doing some serious cleaning. I have also mangaged to make my normally sweet husband a bit grumpy. He is not the pink bunny in the morning.

Happy Birthday and happy sewing and prayers for all in need.

Sandy, still no robins to be seen in my yard but I have seen them in town.

Good morning...

We are having a turkey dinner today.. we take advantage of the buy one get one free turkey deals in November.. and today we are having a complete dinner.. Jerry has the apple pie in the oven now...

Becca, the size changed has happened on many grocery items.. I told DH yesterday that if the TP roll got any shorter we'd have to use something else... and look at bacon, not quite a pound or ice cream.. the list goes on and on..

Judi, good luck finding a dress.. seems everything is geared towards the teeny bopper when I go to look for clothes...hope you enjoy your event.

Kathy, are you making bean bag bunnies? filling them with beans? I bet the kids will love them.

Jana, great hunter that you are... I am impressed with your mouse safari... cant' wait to tell Jerry all about it... shades of soft fuse has a website but it's down for maintenance,

O'Dorothy, sorry your neighborhood isn't "alive" people will venture out when the sun comes up... hope you got to go shopping for more fabric...

Diana.. Marilyn used to climb those gates too, in her bare toes.. I do think there may be a little monkey in all of our kids.

Maryq.. April 5th.. I think as a celebration we should all do something fun...but what? I bet we can come up with something.

Judi, happy b-day to Liam.. how many grands do you have..seems like there is always a reason to eat cake in your family...

Leah, glad you see some melting snow.. happy sewing.. are you making another quilt?

Lois.. happy sewing today... you really did get some cool things from Tina.. don't you wish she'd have a grandkid every day?

Dolores.. did you just say a four letter word? I haven't done the heart borgello, is there a u-tube video that can help?

Suzette, will you make all your umbrellas the same fabric or each one different.. you could get novelty FQ's and make them like that.. it will be cute.

Becca, I sure wish you could blow that moisture this way.. we didn't even get winter this year...

Maryq.. I'd love to help paint, but got to work for a living.. drat.

Sherry, I bet your son will be glad when all the moving stuff is done...

Kathy, glad you have a knitting friend.. cool isnt' it.. you've been there long enough to not be the new person...

Vicky.. hope you all feel better soon, you've had a lot of sick going on lately.

Sandy, nice that youve seen Robin's in town, they just haven't made it out to your house yet, but I am sure they are on their way.

Sue, I wish I were going with you.. I bet her roosters are cute.

Maryz... wooosh.. enjoy your sister visit.

Izzy, do you sell your eggs? do you make butter with goats milk?

I am going to have breakfast and send myself to my room..Marilyn should be home from her sleepover after lunch.. Jerry is cooking, it is so hard to be me sometimes...lol

the adoption lady was here yesterday and after almost 3 years things are moving forward. we have another meeting with her the last week in April to finalize the paperwork and should be finally adopted by the May court date.. maybe perhaps I think...the cps here has bungled things all along the way but those bunglings are really in Marilyn's favor.. had they followed the proper procedure in this process Mar would have had a much harder time along the way..and that's God lining up our lives...

Marilyn will get a new birthcert from the state saying we are the parents and she is our child.. the old b-cert will be void.. odd huh? hope she doesn't expect two birthday parties...lol

you all have a groovy day...

Just got back from the LQS. I bought the prettiest polka dot fabrics for the umbrellas. I bought 4 different colors of polka dots. One has a very light gray in it and that is probably what I will use for the border.I always buy border fabrics after I get the blocks done. That way I can think about it as I work. But, I forgot to get fabric for the background. I make lists and take them with me. But, don't always look at them. Why bother to waste the paper?? LOL

Happy Saturday!

After reading your posts, I feel so lazy. We did take our DGS to the store for new shoes. We got him the cutest ones from Tonka with the "headlights" lighting up with every step. We also stopped at Joann's to get fabric for the ring bearer's pillow and candy melts for the "mints". Thank heavens for the 25% off coupon - saved $10+. We ended up getting 1/2 yd stain bridal fabric, a pillow form, 3 rolls of ribbon, 6 bags of melts, and flameless candle things all for $35. What a deal!

As for feeling good, this weather is so yucky that I don't really feel that good but I know that it is because the temp's go from warm (67 or so) back to 40 or less. It is "Lack of spring-it is!"

Leah - I cannot imagine living in an area where the winter gets longer that it does here. I would not be able to survive.

Lois - Thanks for reminding me to get my hair cut.

Dolores - S*** is in our forecast too. I am so sick of it.
When I read 3 hour on a quilt patterns and directions, for me that means 3 weeks, months, years or never!

Suzette- Our snowblower will get put away in May, maybe! I did see the umbrella quilt you were talking about. It is so cute. I can't wait to see your final version.

Becca - HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!

MaryQ - We need to schedule a party of April 6th!

Judi - Enjoy your DGkids. I need to find a dress for DD's wedding. I have ordered 2 from Penny's. I just hope I didn't order the wrong size. I haven't worn a dress for about 5 years. Her wedding isn't anything fancy so I can get by with something that isn't real dressy.

Sherry - If it makes you feel any better, Spring bypassed Indiana too.

Kathy - How fun is your day - a knitting class!

Vicky - I sure hope your cold is getting better.

Sandy - Sounds like you have been very busy!

Sue - Enjoy your visit with Cindyg.

MaryZ - Enjoy your time with sis.

Izzy - Wow - You have been busy with milk, butter, bread, laundry, bread, and beans. Now, cutting grass! In our area - that won't happen for about another 3 weeks or more. We are still brown. The tulip leaves are up about an 1".

Chriss - congratulations on your adoption process. Praying things progress even smother than before.

I need to get busy doing something - just don't know what. So many - too many things and no ambition.

Diana

Progressing nicely on cleaning out the 2inch squares into a 4ptch that fill 3 ice cream containers. (2 gallons). Nxt step is purchasing a neutral white or black at quild show. Last mtg see if I can find the demos person to invite me over her place during summer to teach the quilt that joined 4ptch, hexagon method.
