A cold Good Morning everyone.We have 3 ins of snow.And 3 degrees.
Lots of folks in GA had big problems getting home.

LOIS Enjoy your grill. We wore out one & have had the second one quite a while.Love it.

VICKY So sorry about your DDs tooth. With DH it has sure been a trying time with teeth for him this month. After the healthy tooth split into now he is afraid it will happen again.

SUZETTE Can they sell on e-bay?I see cloth on there.Or dered once & was very happy with it.

MEL I am sure not a nite owl.One of my DBs is.Everyone is keyed different.I had one job at Hospital that I went to work at 5 AM.Never liked it.

With the cold & snow I plan to sew on the quilt for friend.
Prayers to all in need.....Becca

Good Morning.............

I'm surprised we got no snow.....but we are 9'. I think I'll make bread today. Keep me warm. My furnace has gone off for 4x the last 2 days. I'll call the next time.

Sooz.....hopping you had a quite night. I like folk music too.

Mell.....I just heard the SE has one more day of freezing before the retreat. Driving is a worry on ice. I'll be looking for snow for you!

Suzette....do you belong or know a quilt guild? Maybe someone can make an announcement there. I'll have to check out Williamsburg....it so beautiful.

Lois....I see grilled everything in your future! My DD's grill is always on the counter. Happy birdhouseing!! I saw 2 more Robins yesterday....maybe they are lost.

Dolores.....have fun in the snow!!

Vicky....now that is strange that the same tooth was bothering you both. Good thing she had you to help. Have a wonderful time catching up on your hugs & kisses.

Chriss....I remember a fabric swap with you....some unusual fabric out there.

Judi....When I left work I still woke at 6am. Now I can sleep until 8 if I don't set the alarm for 7. My girls woke once a night for a few months to nurse. Dress warm...I've never been -20. Here's a ((((HUGE)))))) to help keep you warm.

Maryz......I'll be praying for your brother & you. Oh the waiting! Hope it's something they can treat easily.

Becca.....keep warm & drive carefully. Happy Quilting......

Love & prayers to all in need.........Kathy

I'm definitely making bread!! the furnace won't turn & the repair man will be here mid afternoon....brrrrrrr

Suzette I would think listing it locally would be the best way/ Quilters will come and look at it before they buy, If it is quiltshop goods they should have no problem selling it...have a quilters yard sale....we had one here (I missed it) Family sold all of passed quilters stuff,,,including machines,,,they had women bidding on the stuff...very popular was the rulers and fabric,,,,they bundled it up and sold it in bundles that matched. (ie all blues , all reds, etc.) ended up with a guy buying everything that was left at the end of the day for his wife....(WOW)

Ooooh, making bread sounds like a wonderful thing to do on a cold day like this! We are at 0 again, but it is blue sky straight up.

Maryz - I'm so sorry to hear about your brother. I wonder why his wife didn't recognize that there was something else going on? She must not have the nurses' intuition/knowledge. My mom told me last week that my dad is ready to go home - which caught my breath. But she said that didn't mean he has given up, he just says he's ready.

Chriss - microwave booties not for you?! They do cool down in about 1/2 an hour, but my feet would get so cold that I couldn't sleep at night so I used to warm them up in the bathtub before I went to bed. Now I can just heat up the booties and warm up my feet. I got Elizabeth a pair and she over cooked them - whew! They reeked! And that makes them hot, not warm.

Vicky - I hope Caleb gets the job at Wegmans. The consistently are rated by their employees as one of the best companies to work for.

Time to get a move on,
Karlene

Good morning all! Just a quick stop in today. Our neighbor got us plowed out last night so I can get out today and go get my errands done. It is supposed to start warming up today. I will take anything above 0 degrees. I hate this weather. I just haven't even felt like sewing, but I need to get my Mystery Blocks done before the next show. Sounds like everyone has been busy. Prayers for all who need them.

Well better go get my coffee drank and get something done. Hope everyone can start to get warm today.

Running behind this morning, need to get in the shower, but want to answer and comment on a few.

SOOZ - Our beading group here in the RV park gets together on Tuesday afternoons. We are all working on different things, mostly bracelets, though Velda was making a necklace to go with a bracelet, yesterday. Some have beaded a long time, some newbies. We do a lot of sharing of patterns, ideas and just plain visit over beads. I like to work with Delica's. I like how they fit together. I designed a half hexagon bracelet that is real easy. If you would like the pattern, just PM me with your address or email address, I might be able to email the pattern.

VICKY - Sounds like you are feeling better.....GOOD.

MARYZ - Good you found that quilt shop with fabric you didn't realize you needed. LOL

There will be no sewing group today. They are working on the upstairs of the club house and have to close lower level for some repairs to upstairs. Sounds like it will probably be a mess. I will continue to work on my birdhouses in the Motorhome.

I don't believe this.. Left this morn for Wal-Mart 3 items on grocery list. No cart! Transit user.. Bought more than planned! Be 53 years soon! Brain says multi-task-physical says bull ding.. Walk, stop, rest, continue. Keep telling myself no rush, take your time, you have all day! I'm 5ft. 2in handles too long, Huffing and puffing, fed kitten his (TUNA) sat down for TV & feel asleep.
Bought soft tacos shells, I'll experiment with that...

Dental work, I've had plenty of that, fillings, root canals, some beginning of tooth removal, crowns can't afford. Yet, throughout my life have had really good dentist, who managed to save tooth on a thread of the enamel. But, it will happen one day, I dread where the money will come from.. Understand your pain and financial humbug. Hang in there! Without my kisser, don't think an employer will ever hire.
