I would leave it. It
just became a new block design.
It is the grandmother block with mistake ?

Vicky your block is great--I wouldn't change a thing..
My leaf stem is wonky, buy I'm leaving it. There's just one leaf in the entire quilt, it doesn't have to match anything.

Vicky, love your blocks! I'm wanting to do a black background on a quilt now :o) Your leaf block looks great to me and try as I might I don't see a mistake.
Tina

I just found the difference, but it's not a mistake, it still looks like a leaf :o)

I agree, leave it the way it is. Took me forever to figure it out. Your blocks really pop on the black. Hope you quilt it with some variegated quilting and enter it in some shows. I smell WINNER!

Everyone is making such pretty blocks. This will be an awesome quilt when you all finish it. I wanted to do this but packing up has delayed any idea of quilting. Some of my rulers, etc, and lots of fabric is already packed up. But I will have pics to refer back to later if I decide to do it somewhere down the road.

Tess, thank you for doing this. You are making such nice color choices to inspire everyone.

Vicky, I spent a long time trying to find your "mistake". It looks just fine the way it is. Love the black background. That Amish look is always stunning.

MePiece, You have such pretty colors in yours. Did you start out with a color scheme or just a lucky matching of scraps? Love the leaf on blue. Looks like a leaf floating thru the sky on the wind. Love it.

Izzy, I have seen some of your other ones in past wks. How do you find the time to do all this and take care of family, school, and everything else too?

Not sure who all is doing this but have fun and keep those pics coming. Awesome way to spend a little time, oohing and aahing over every ones, all same blocks, all so diff in your color and fabric choices. Lets me dream about maybe , someday, I will do this too.

God bless and have fun making this quilt. Hugs, Shirley Mae

Vicky are you really sure you made a mistake:)) I think I know what you think is a mistake but remember no two things God created were exactly alike:)) He made many shades of colors and organized them the way he saw fit:) You too are making great choices and blocks so let it be:)

Shirleymae it is hard to cram it all in and I do look forward to June when I retire to have more flexibility. But to get in my sewing room for just 30 min while waiting on girls makes the evening and my life so much nicer:))

Mepeice love your blocks too. That leaf is gorgous I love the fabric:))

TO the sewing room today and I promise a post by tomorrow of all 7 done and a clean slate for this weeks:))
