LOIS - I've heard of letter carriers who have to carry the mail and they dont' like heavy magazines. So they simply throw them away. I hope this hasn't been happening to you! And there was a recent news story about a letter carrier who had thousands of pounds of mail buried in his backyard because he didn't want to deliver it.

Back again - for just a minute -
Cindyg - the brick is my stone retaining wall in the back yard - we didn't build it quite tall enough to keep out the boogey man! We are adding a row or two one each of the two walls we have there.
Just got a phone call from the builder of my bookcases - they needed to know what size knobs for the piece - since it is so dainty - NOT - I told them the large ones! It will be ready either late this afternoon or tomorrow! Yippee - Just under a month since I ordered it.
Well I am still waiting on the delivery -
Hugs
Jana

Good Rainy Chilly Morning!!
We're expecting some Andrea rain too. Thank goodness just rain.
so it's a good sewing day.
Suzette...your poor DSIL!! Isn't there anyone one who can help her? Other children? Husband? I hope she went to the Drs. I'll be praying for them. When my dear Aunt was dying her son took her painkillers.
It's a good day when you do binding.
Sharona....sounds like you have a wonderful day planed.
Judi....sounds like you had a mini quilting bee. Good luck with you dress. I'm sure you can do it...one seam at a time. I could use a food delivery today. I've let everything run out thinking I'm leaving any day for my DDs.
Pat....sounds like you have full day planed. Someday I'll read quilting novels....I've never read one.
Chriss.....you are really busy already this weekend. I'm going to try to go the my 'old' dentist when I'm at DDs.
Jana....I love the sound of a 2 wheel wheelbarrow. I never had luck with a 1 wheeler.
Cindyg....I'll keep Ed & Vicky in my prayers. Oh your having a hot day & I'm chilly & rainy.
Karlene.....you were really busy last night. Happy sewing... Happy Anniversary to you parents. Thank you for your prayers. I got 'the' call I'll be leaving Tues to go to my DDs. She comes home Wed. I'm feeling better now that I know when I'm going.
Maryz....I never miss the dentist except for this time. I last went 10 months ago. just before the move. Good luck with the quilt.
Lois,.....good luck with the PO. I've lost my faith in them & the cost keeps going up!
Love & Prayers,,,,,,,Kathy

Re: Friday, June 7th
Well My order came and we have plums and nectarines and tomatoes. we have Kale and cucumbers and eggs and milk, and a big carton of delicious strawberries. It is a little pricey but I have to only go to the store for paper and soap stuff. I have a fresh meat butcher across the street in my little town. I can add to my order as much as I want. we have enough for the week. I get an order every week and all is organic... Maryz This weeks order was $33 becuase I added some Milk and eggs, most weeks the fruit and veggies are $24. I have to tell you that I spend at least that much at the grocery store and the quality is not there. the company is called "Door to Door Organics" here they only have a few states on their web site,,,but ny friend in Ohio says they have something similar there under a different name...oh and there is no delivery charge. cannot beat that with a stick. They also use as much locally grown as they can, When my garden comes in I will swap out my order with things I do not grow myself..like oranges and bananas, and other stuff.
